Portsmouth Bench Finish:Clear lacquered Space Copenhagen ́s Fly seriesBorn out of a commission to design new choir stalls for Portsmouth Cathedral, the specified material for the Portsmouth bench was oak which, whilst heavy, is possessed of an inherent strength that allows sections of the design to be very thin. The result is a slim and elegant bench which was sturdy enough to seat two to three choristers, yet light enough to move easily.
