In a private, unpublished letter, he opined to a confidant that his friends' constant requests that he preach for them would be the death of him. We can feel that Spurgeon in this letter. . . busy, a bit flustered, and no room at the margins. A very good custom printed post card example used by Spurgeon only for a brief time, and quite scarce in and of itself.
