M54 Tool Kit Rental 400-Core Our CNC machined aluminum OilGenerally the timing tool kit is unnecessary for a Dual Vanos replacement, but if you're rebuilding the cylinder head or replacing the camshafts you will need this tool kit to set up the cam timing. If you have a Vanos related fault code that is saying one of the camshafts is over advanced or over retarded after replacing your vanos, then your timing may be slightly off, which will require this tool kit to reset the cam timing. The Dual Vanos tool kit
