The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973 1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover. Made from 3 ply shiny red black red plastic material, 2. 3mm thick. We cut this with a 45 degree bevelled edge and there is a clear protective film on top to protect
