The length of this measures center pin to center pin. The open swage sockets have a center pin to attach the wire rope to another fitting. This Type 115 Swage Socket sling has a working load limit of 2. 66 tons. The swage socket is attached to the end of the wire rope using special dies and a hydraulic machine. This makes these sockets resistant to
