Commentary the Annual Fast approached againA superb post impressionist oil on canvas over board by Michigan artist, Cornelius Van Fulpen [1905 2018] Born in the Netherlands in 1905, Cornelius VanFulpen immigrated to Kalamazoo, Michigan with his family in 1921. He was hired the same year, at sixteen years of age, to paint for the Kalasign Company [1921 1928]. He then worked for the Thompson Sign Company and later [1929] the Bryant Company. He worked there as a professional sign painter until
