Zenoby Lawryshyn's Woodwind Quintet [Digital Download] even notably acquainted with QueenUkrainian born Zenoby Lawryshyn may have written his Woodwind Quintet during his time as a student at the University of Toronto, but dont be fooled; this work is not for the faint of heart. Lawryshyn expertly weaves folkloric elements into twelve tone structures in this dissonant, emotional, and at times quirky piece. The work is comprised of 9 movements, inviting the performers to carefully explore and unravel the structures within. Zenoby Lawryshyns
