The siren is a euro market option for MK4's and makes a chirp sound for lock/unlock and blaring siren for panic/alarm instead of the "dying goose" honk North American MKIV's came equipped with and DWA siren also has battery backup in case a thief attempts to silence it by unplugging it or battery power

Pair this with a turn signal stalk with cruise control buttons to retain full cruise function when running a none multi function steering wheel
