The Zibibbo grapes are picked at the end of August then carefully dried for several months before fermentation
as well known for its unusual red blends as its more traditionally styled whites
the relatively warm climate of this part of Germany lending plenty of ripeness to the peach/stone fruit notes with some green apple freshness and a touch of underlying minerality
with bright citrus and herbal/fennel notes

This is gently scented with soft, dark berry fruit and an earthy, peppery finish, much closer to a Northern Rhone Syrah than a more typically Australian Shiraz
