Painted in high pigment artist quality paints that are non toxic. Finished with a non toxic water based satin varnish. Silver plated post studs with clear silicone backs (silicone backs are much softer and more secure than metal ones). They measure 10mm from tale to beak. They come presented in a little screw top tin as photographed.
