American Folk Art Carved Hunting Horn, Masonic, Woodsmen, Missouri 1896 heirloom In the late 1940s DiBertAmerican Hunting Horn adorned with various symbols and illustrations dated Nov. 10th, 1896 Hickory, Missouri. Also carved into the horn is : "Poplar Springs Lumber Co." Along with the Inscription: "Made for F. E. Moore, Hickory, Miss." And the Initials "F. E. M." There are Masonic Symbols on the horn, along with a knight with a skull in a crest, which likely refers to the Knights and Ladies of Security. We found, in our research, a Fountain E. Moore
